M. L. Santella's Home Page



Michael L. (Mike) Santella received his Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from University of Pittsburgh in 1981.  He is currently a Senior Development Staff member in the Materials Joining and NDT group at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he has worked since 1983.  Mike is a member of the AWS C3 Committee on Brazing and Soldering, and the Welding Handbook Chapter Committee on Ceramics.  He is also a member of TMS.  His research experience encompasses activities on welding of carbon steels and intermetallic alloys, and brazing of ceramics.
